It was January 10 of the year 1902 when Nora Fuller found the ad in San Francisco Chronicle about an employer who was looking for a “young girl to take care of the baby – good home and good wages.” Nora then talked with her mother about her interest in applying for the position.
The next day, Nora received a postcard with instructions to go to the Popular Restaurant to have an interview with Mr John Bennett. The excited 15-year-old Nora left her home at 5:00 in the afternoon for her appointment.
Hours later, she called her house to inform that Mr. Bennett wanted her to start work immediately. And that was the last time they heard from her. It was almost 3 weeks when this girl’s body was found in a recently evacuated property. This case is probably one of the most famous unsolved murders in San Francisco.
2. Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. Murder
